Divina Lite

Divina Lite — a Doré engraving theme for Obsidian

Divina Lite turns your vault into a 19th-century engraving. It takes the warm ink-and-vellum look of Gustave Doré's plates for Dante's Divine Comedy — cross-hatched rules, a wax-seal medallion on every heading, a frontispiece “engraving plate” on the empty tab — and renders it in pure CSS. No images, ~26 KB, no telemetry.

What you get (free)

This is the free edition. It ships the Inferno mood only, built entirely from CSS gradients and box-shadows so it stays light and loads anywhere.

Frontispiece empty-state — a framed, cross-hatched engraving plate where Obsidian usually shows a blank pane, finished with a triple-ring rosette and a line of Dante.
Wax-seal headings — H2s carry a small engraved gold medallion.
Hatched dividers — --- becomes an engraver's rule, not a flat line.
Warm vellum dark palette — easy on the eyes for long writing sessions; gold serif headings, muted body text.
Pure CSS — no raster assets, no fonts bundled, ~26 KB. Fast and portable.

Divina (full) — the engraved edition

Divina Lite is the entryway. The full Divina is the bound book: Inferno · Purgatorio · Paradiso, a mood switcher, and real Doré engraving plates hand-placed and embedded.

If Lite earns a place in your vault, the full edition is how you say thanks — and how the project keeps getting made.
